Betty Mays Obituary

Betty Joanna Patton Mays passed away October 03, 2018 at her home in Chattanooga, TN.

Betty was a longtime resident of Rhea County before moving to Chattanooga. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Chattanooga and active in Members with Prosthetic Limbs. While living in Rhea County, she worked at La-Z-Boy and Krystal Foods.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Catherine Jones Patton; sister, Barbara Dunn and brothers, Teddy and Robert “Red” Patton.

She is survived by her children, Toni Louise Stewart of Whitwell, TN, Errica Davis of Chattanooga, TN, Zachary Dewayne Hyatte of Ocala, FL and Skye Marie Mays of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Janice (Paul) Vineyard of Evensville, TN, Mary (Danny) Everett of Graysville, TN, Rosemary Brown of Nashville, TN and Mary Janie Douglas of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Willie Frank Patton of Dayton, TN; her sister, Shirley Brooks of Dayton, TN; eight grandchildren and several dearly loved nieces and nephews.

Services will be Sunday October 7th at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home. with Rev.Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday October 7th from 2 to 4 P.M. at the funeral home..

Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
