Christine "Chris" (Collier) Goins

Longtime Dayton resident Chris Goins, 73, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Rhea Medical Center.

She was a longtime caregiver for her family members who were sick or disabled. She loved her family with all her heart. She was an amazing lady who was kind, sweet, compassionate and lots of fun. She loved to travel with her daughter and her favorite place was Aruba, where a portion of her ashes will be spread at a later date.

She is preceded in death by her parents, JC and Della Mae Collier; sisters, Dorothy Poe, Geneva Collier and Betty Jean Moody and brother, David Collier.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold Goins; daughter, Stacey Goins of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Melissa Goins of Spring City; granddaughter, Kelsi Goins of Spring City and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Alan Crews for many years of care. They would also like to thank the staff of Erlanger and Rhea Medical Center.

A service will be held Saturday, July 28,  2018 at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev Jim Didlake officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm.
