Earl Colbaugh

Earl Colbaugh, age 96, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Colbaugh was a life-long residence of Rhea County and was born on August 27, 1922 to the late Bryant and Mae Colbaugh. He was self-employed as a farmer for many years and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Francis Colbaugh and his brother, Dewey Colbaugh.

Survivors include his nephew, Ronnie Colbaugh, of Dayton, nieces, Peggy Etherton, of Dayton, TN and Betty Mulkey, of Knoxville, Tennessee, great niece, Christiee Ark, of Dayton, TN, great nephew, Clint Colbaugh, of Ooltewah, TN and many other nieces, nephews and friends of the family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Waldon officiating. Interment will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
