Elbert "Ron" Phillips Obituary

Elbert Ronald Phillips of Dayton, TN passed away at Life Care Center of Rhea County on December 26, 2018.

Ron was a longtime resident of Rhea County. He worked in construction and was of the Protestant faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvina Reed and Raymond Phillips and grandson, Eric Renner.

He is survived by his children, Eddie (Jamie) Phillips of MI, Diane (Ronnie) Walker of Tallapoosa, GA, Renee Fairclough of Soddy, TN and Cindy Lawrence of Oak Ridge, TN; sisters, Adair McElynn, Charlotte Weller both of Dayton, TN, Almedda Mullins of Chattanooga, TN, Mary Ann (Will) Wyatt of Saint Leonard, MD; brothers, Nathan Reed of Dayton, TN and Archie (Rose Marie) Phillips of Harvest, AL; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and special friend Lee Creasman and children, Ruby Weatherbee of Pikeville, TN, Jackie Fay Crawford of Dayton, TN and Leon Creasman of Pikeville, TN.

Service will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Don Iles officiating. There will be visitation from 12:00-2:00pm, prior to service.

Family will also receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm.

Interment will be at Kiuka-Rogers Cemetery.
