Eula Virginia (Hicks) Farnsworth

Eula Farnsworth, 102, of Dayton Mountain went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Eula was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Ogden Baptist Church. She served as Sunday School teacher and choir member for many years, as well as other capacities in the church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Gertie Hicks; her husband, Edwin F. Farnsworth Sr.; sisters, Gertrude (Emory) Farnsworth, and Ruth (Coleman) Spence.

She is survived by her children, Ellen Farnsworth, Rose Mary Farnsworth, Edwin (Jane Ellen) Farnsworth Jr. all of Dayton, TN, Frank (Mary Frances) Farnsworth of  Soddy Daisy, TN; three grandchildren, William (Missy) Farnsworth, Donald Farnsworth, Amanda Farnsworth; three great-grandchildren, Meredith Farnsworth, Savannah Farnsworth, and Caitlyn Farnsworth; four nieces and several cousins.

Service will be  Sunday, August 05, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Hensley, Rev. Jimmy Jewell and Brian Kamer officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 05, 2018 1:00-3:00pm.
