Gertrude Ann Sutton

Gertrude Ann Sutton passed away on August 24, 2019 at the Hospice Center of Chattanooga.

Gertrude was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Hilltop Baptist Church in Dayton, TN.  She was a CNA for nursing homes in Chattanooga, TN and always took care of others the best she could.

She is preceded in death by parents, Clarence Edward Miles and Rosie Morris Miles; three daughters, Lisa Harvey, Mary Harvey, And Rachel Harvey; along with several brothers.

She is survived by children, Susan Harvey-Sutton (Ray) of Spring City, TN, Jimmy Smith of Evensville, TN, Jessie Williams of Nashville, TN, Rosa Harvey of Cleveland, TN; sisters, Imogene McGibney of Georgia, Margaret Hurst of Georgia, Brenda Miles of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Edgar Miles of Chattanooga, TN; twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11a.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Reverend Norman Huskey officiating.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Interment will be at Pritchett Cemetery in Evensville, TN.
