Gilbert Wayne Brown, 71, passed away January 24, 2019 at his home in Dayton, TN.
Wayne was born on June 9, 1947 to Gilbert F. Brown and Gladys F. Vied Brown in Blythville, Arkansas. He called Carouthersville, Missouri his other home town and he will be missed by much loved friends Gene and Marie Tarpley. He was a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local 43 and retired from TVA. He last worked for Sethras as a probation officer.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debbie Housley Brown of Dayton, TN; daughter, Mindy (Carl David) Lindkvist of Sale Creek, TN; son, Robery May of Dayton,TN; grandchildren, Serena Lindkvist (Jason Thurman), Breanna Lindkvisit, Kelsie May, Mekayla May and Malachi May; three great grandchildren, Kayanna Johnson, Jackson Lindkvist and Americas King; special friends Jesse and Chrissy Leonard of Dayton, TN; sister-in-law, Patty Edgeman of Dayton,TN; nephew, Clinton Edgeman; brother-in-law, Johnny (Vivian) Housley all of Dayton,TN ; nephews, William (Susan) Housley, and Marvin (Angie) Housley.
A memorial/ celebration of Wayne for family and friends will be Sunday, February 03, 2019 from 1:00-4:00pm at his home.
