Henry Eugene “Gene” Williams of Dayton, TN passed away December 5, 2019 at CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, TN.

Gene was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Church of God faith. He loved fishing, working on lawn mowers, and playing games with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Zola Allison Williams.

He is survived by his children, Henry (Rebecca) Williams Jr. of Soddy Daisy, TN, Brenda Williams (John) Clawson of Ashboro, NC and Jimmy (Samantha) Williams of Dayton, TN; sisters, Bonnie Harvey of Dunlap, TN, Janie Sisco , Margaret Lewis both of Graysville, TN, Wanda Clingan of Cleveland, TN; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Vogan officiating. Interment will follow at Cove Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 1:00-3:00pm.
