Janet Ellen Aldridge

Janet Ellen Aldridge passed away December 27, 2018 at her home in Dayton, TN.

Janet was a longtime resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. She was a beautician and a homemaker for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved crafts and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her parents ; Frank Wisehart Mary Wisehart  Aldridge, step father; Ebal Aldridge; sister, Jayne Baldwin; niece, Amy Graves and several step-brothers and step-sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John C Aldridge of Dayton, TN; children, Jennifer Vaughn and Jamie (Kenny) Kilby both of Dayton, TN; sisters, Ruthanne Voyles of Anderson IN, Judy( Mike) McQuilling of Russiaville, IN; sisters in law, Carolyn Aldridge of Frankton, IN, Mary Raymore of West Palm Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren,  Dakota Kilby, Ashley Lanier, Derek Lanier, & Bailey Kilby, Shane Vaughn, Brittany Bookholt, Kyle Vaughn; great grandson, Carsen Bookholt and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with longtime family friend, Rev. Raymond T. Gustin officiating.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 12:00-4:00pm.

Interment will be on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at 10;30 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
