Janie Douglas

Janie Douglas, 65, of Dayton TN passed away December 22,2019 at home in Chattanooga, TN. 

Janie was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Grace Works Church in Chattanooga, TN. 

She is preceded in death by her spouse Robert Douglas; parents, Sherman (Clara) Auther; Daughter Nettie Douglas; brothers Charles Mac Auther, Sherman Auther Jr., Robert Eugene Auther, Teddy Rosevelt Auther; grandson Michael Smith. 

She is survived by her partner, Rockie Rearden; children Tonya (Timothy) Lawson; sister, Elizabeth Cranmore brothers; Jimmy Auther, Gordon Auther of Dayton. grandchildren;Tosha (Travis) Rutledge, Christopher Douglas, Austin Smith, Megan Lawson, great-grandchildren; Isaiah and Jeremiah Rutledge. 

Service will be Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Owens officiating. 

Family will receive friends Monday, December 23, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Interment  will be in the Spence Cemetery.
