Jean King Obituary

Jean Roberta King of Dayton, TN passed away November 16, 2019.

Jean was a longtime resident of Bledsoe County and a member of Community Baptist Church in Pikeville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Riggs and Bertha Morgan Riggs; brothers, Buddy Riggs and Jerry Riggs; sisters, ErmaJewell Bales, Mary Johnson, Martha Hawkins and Betty Rohrscheib.

She is survived by her children, Susan Smith of Pikeville, TN, Howard (Vivian) King of Pikeville, TN, Ernest (Ramona) King of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Linda Kerley of Pikeville, TN, Barbara (John) Long of Harrison Bay, TN, Tommy Riggs of Pikeville, TN and Roger (Jeannie) Riggs of Dayton, TN; sister-in-law, Leona Riggs; grandchildren, Shon Smith , Shannon (Heath) Smith both of Pikeville, TN, Rodney Stokell of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Justin ( Jennifer) King of Chattanooga, TN and numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 10:00am-2:00pm.

Interment will be at Rigsby Cemetery.
