Julius Everett Smith

Julius Everett Smith, born December 21, 1960 in Chattanooga, TN departed this life on Monday, May 20, 2019 after days of illness at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

Julius was a member of Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church where he served faithfully as the Chairman of Trustee, a member of Lay Council, Asst. Sunday School Supt. and President of Usher Board.

“Uncle Ju” loved all his babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard C. Smith and Wilma Lee Smith; brother, Maurice C. Smith and sister, Sandra M. Smith.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory children, one daughter, Ahzia; two sons, Cameron and Kyvie all of TN; two grandchildren, Aiden and Karlee of AL; brother, Bruce (Diana) Smith; sister, Tracie M. Garrett of TN; stepsisters, Anna Gallagher, Cindy (Rev. Mike) Landry of TX; two stepbrothers, Charles Ewing of TN and Rev. Albert (Phadra) Hanks of FL; one uncle and a host of aunts,nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Service will be Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 1:30pm at Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church with Rev. James T. Willis Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 7:00-8:30pm at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
