Kenneth Hughes Obituary

Kenneth Lee Hughes of Crossville, TN passed away November 13, 2019 at Cumberland Medical Center.

Kenneth was a longtime resident of Rhea County before moving to Crossville and of the Baptist faith. He loved playing string instruments, going to flea markets and fishing. He retired from La-Z-Boy Chair Co. in Dayton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ethel Hughes; brothers Hobart, James and T.F. Hughes; sisters, Gladys Jordan, Beulah Baldwin, Pauline Jordan, Wanda Adams, Mary Harris; baby son, Jerry Hughes and great grandson, Joel Hughes.

He is survived by sons, David Hughes of Crossville, TN, Gary Hughes of Morristown, TN, David Miller of Dayton, TN; sisters, Imogene Marler and Wilma Cunningham of Dayton, TN; brothers, Clarence Hughes of Dayton, TN, Wendell Hughes of Bledsoe County; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 2:30pm EST at Summer City Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Revis officiating.

Family will receive friends Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 12:00-2:00pm at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
