Lula Mae “Jonce” Beard, 95, went home to enjoy the beauties of Heaven on June 26, 2019.

Jonce was born August 26, 1923 to Charley and Beulah Fisher in Evensville, TN. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Texas Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of OES #29 in Spring City for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Conley M. (Whiskers) Beard; four sisters, Helen and Virginia Fisher, Derita Hendersn, Pauline Vigfusion and five brothers, Thomas D. Fisher, William H.Fisher, Charles B. (Buck) Fisher, Donald R. Fisher and Alvin C. (Jimbo) Fisher.

She is survived by her children, Billy Ray (Barbara) Gardner and Joy Patterson both of Dayton, TN; 2 sisters, Margaret (French) Lester of Dayton, TN and Alma Cunningham of Maryville, TN; 8 grandchildren, Barry, Tommy and Dewayne (Doodle) Gardner, Mitchell and Timothy (Randy) Rogers, Katrina Fugate, Cindy Cordell and Candy Patterson all of Dayton, TN; several great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Service will be Friday June 28, 2019 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Huskey officiating. Interment will follow at Add Smith Cemetery.

 

Family will receive friends, Friday June 28, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm.
