Lynn George Tallent Sr., 70, of Dayton, TN passed away August 21, 2019 at home.

Lynn was of the Baptist Faith and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as a Staff Sargent in Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by parents, Luther Harrison Tallent and Delia Moseley Cable Tallent; brother, Billy Tallent; and sister, Margaret Gagnon.

He is survived by wife, Yong Tallent; children, Patrick Luther Tallent (Tiffany) of Spring City, TN, Lynn George Tallent Jr. of Normandy, Sandra Sue Tallent (Chase Everett) of Dayton, TN, Candy Anna Reece (J.R.) of Dayton, TN; brothers, Mike Tallent (Virginia) of Madisonville, TN, Glen Tallent of Murfreesboro, TN and ten grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral home with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Interment will be Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
