Mable Ann (Miller) Cogdill, 77, of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her residence.

Mabel was born in Athens, Tennessee on May 29, 1941 to the late Jesse and Margaret Miller. She later moved to Rhea County, where she has resided for the past 24 years. She enjoyed quilting and collecting recipes. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, France Calvin Cogdill, Jr., daughter, Janet Headlee and a brother, Willard Miller.

Survivors include her daughters, Della Thomas, of Decatur, Tennessee and Ramona Thompson, of Orlando, Florida, two sisters, Frances Wilson, of Kentucky and Maebelle Bledsoe, of Athens, Tennessee, two brothers, Mitchell (Peggy) Miller, of Decatur, Tennessee and Joe Miller, of Athens, Tennessee, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services or visitation.
