Michael "Mike" Ward Obituary

Michael “Mike” Eugene Ward passed away August 28, 2019 at his home in Dayton, TN.

Mike was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Methodist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arvil Ward and Wilma Schrimpsher Ward and daughter Brandy Burns.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Ward of Dayton, TN; sister, Diane (Lloyd) Swafford of Evensville, TN; brothers, Bill (Sherrie) Ward of Chattanooga, TN, Roger (Sandra) Ward of Dayton, TN; grandchildren, Kayla Ward, Cheynne Burns, Stephen Burns, Joe Burns; great grandchildren, Thomas Elijah Michaels, Emmett Hickman and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Friday, August 30, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Bollant officiating. Interment will follow at Cove Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 30, 2019 from 12:00-2:00pm.
