Raymond Walker Obituary

Raymond Leon Walker, 57, of Dayton, TN passed away January 1, 2019 at Laurelbrook Nursing Home.

Raymond was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, spending time with his family, taking trips and hunting. He worked several years at Leer Manufacturing in the molding department.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Wilma Cheeks Walker.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Alice Arlene Walker of Dayton, TN; children, Rita J. (Rocky) Hicks and Berina Walker both of Dayton, TN; brothers, Clyde (Beverly Pelfrey) Walker and Darrell (Lynn) Walker both of Dayton, TN; grandchildren, Summer Hicks, Austin Hicks, Angel Bauman, Katie Hicks, Timmy Bauman and great grandsons, Hunter Joines and Preston Hill.

Special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga and the staff of Laurelbrook Nursing Home for their compassion and care of Raymond.

Service will be Friday, January 04, 2019 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

Family will receive friends Friday, January 04, 2019 from 11:00-1:00.

Interment will be at City Cemetery.
