Rev. John Neese Obituary

Reverend John Neese of Dayton, TN went to Heaven peacefully Monday, September 04, 2018 surrounded by his family singing the hymns he loved.

John served churches in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church for almost 50 years, retiring in 2009. The passion of his life was preaching and leading people to Jesus by just loving them.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Hazel Neese; brothers, Randolph and Mason; sisters, Roberta and Nadine; daughter, Tracy; grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua and Danielle.

Survivors include his loving wife and devoted partner in ministry, Louise; daughters, Connie (Tony) Ramsey, Gina Neese and Emma Morrison all of Dayton, TN; sons, Richie (Reva) Neese of Lenoir City, TN, Lee Neese and Joe (Kim) Neese both of Dayton, TN; sister Fran (Bob) Hall of Roanoke, VA and the delights of his life, his grandchildren, Benjamin (Kayla), Kolton, Katelyn, Alexis, Jasmine, Hayley, Elijah, Angel, Tristan and Tapanga.

Service will be 1:00pm Saturday, September 08, 2018 in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ewing and Richie Neese officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 07, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm.

Interment will be in Spivey Cemetery.
