Rev. Walter Arnold Obituary

Walter William Arnold of Dayton, TN passed away October 04, 2018 at his home. After a lengthy illness he went home to be with the Lord.

Walter was an ordained Baptist minister and a member of Cave Creek Baptist Church in Kingston, TN, Dayton Lodge 512, Kerbela Shriners of Knoxville, Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies and Past Patron Dayton Order of Eastern Star. He retired from Y-12 BWXT Oak Ridge, TN after working as a machinist for 27 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Myra Arnold; son, Steven Bradley Arnold; brothers, Allen, Robert and Donald Ray Arnold; sisters, Thelma Shelton, Frankie Dowden, Nancy Brady, and Helen Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Harrison Arnold of Dayton, TN; daughters, Jamie (Daniel) Morgan of Evensville, TN and Penieca (Ed) Bowman of Dayton, TN; sister, Kathy (David) Childs of Crossville, TN; grandchildren, Brittany Morgan of Chattanooga, TN, Briar and Payne Morgan of Evensville, TN, Brett Arnold of Lebanon TN, Hailey (Andy) Stewart of Lebanon, TN and Precious Arnold of Dayton, TN; great grandchildren, Gavin, Peyton, Haustin Hay and Rowan Arnold and several nieces and nephews.

Masonic Service will be held Saturday, October 06, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral home with Rev. Paul “Yogi” White and Rev. David Coffman officiating.

Family will receive friends Friday, October 05, 2018 from 6:00-9:00pm.

Interment will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Jason Shelton, Bill Arnold, Allen Ray Arnold, Scott Arnold, Mike Shelton, Greg Arnold and James Harrison.

Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Dowden, Neil Shelton, Jackie Shelton, Bud Dowden, Avery Harrison and Paul Cookenour.
