Richard Owen Smith

Richard O. Smith age 60 of Graysville passed away Sunday at his home.

He was a longtime resident of Rhea County. He worked over 30 years at Laz-Boy and enjoyed fishing, took great pride in his lawn work, however his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by spouse Kay Ruth Smith; parents George D. (Dorthy) Smith, one brother; George H. Smith four sisters; Hansel Smith, Bonnie McFarland, Joice Hood, Betty Jean Adcock.

Survived by Daughter; Rhonda (Max) Yeargan of Dunlap. Two Grandchildren; Victoria Faith and Kaden Ryan Yeargan, two Sisters; Glenda “June” Bice, Pharon (Daniel) Spatafore , three Brothers; “Danny” Van Smith, Gary (Lisa) Smith, Ricky Smith. Brother in Law; Kenneth (Rowena) Rhodes. 

Funeral services will be Thursday December 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM. in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Massengale officiating.

Interment will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Dayton, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends Thursday December 26, from 11-1pm at the funeral home.
