Samuel "Sam" Rusbridge Obituary

Samuel ‘Sam’ Wallace Rusbridge passed away on August 10, 2019 in Dayton, TN.

Sam was born in Dayton on October 31, 1946. He was a twin and the second of six children. He spent his childhood years in the Evensville area. He was a graduate of Rhea Central High School and continued his education at Tennessee Tech where he received a BS degree in Industrial Technology. He later earned his MBA from Georgia Southern University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Evensville United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Charlotte Montgomery Buttram, and his brother, Bill Rusbridge.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Ashley) Rusbridge of Canton, GA; grandsons, Luke and Will Rusbridge; sisters, Martha(Eddie) Calbaugh of Evensville and Mary Ann Buttram of Evensville; brothers, Tom(Brenda) Rusbridge of Jacksonville, FL and Don(Diana) Buttram of Shady Dale, GA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. William Boyd officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m.
