Vernon Lee Armstrong Sr.

Vernon Lee Armstrong Sr. age 79 died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Spring City Health Care and Rehab. He was a longtime resident of Grandview, Tn. Vernon was a former resident of Miami, Fl. He went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 23, 2019. He is proceeded in death by his wife Patricia Beasley Armstrong; brother, Charles Ray Armstrong; parents, Lowery Armstrong and Margie A. Carter. He is survived by his three children, Starlynn Matthews of Spring City, TN, Vernon Armstrong Jr. of Grandview, TN, David Armstrong of Grandview, TN; brother, Norman Armstrong of California; grandkids, Danyelle Gilliam, Trevor Armstrong, Kaylee Armstrong, Nick Armstrong, Shawn Armstrong, Tricia Armstrong, Christopher Armstrong, Jessica Gilliam, and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. His service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 3pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Zimmerman and Rev. Mike Grace officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1pm to 3pm Tuesday. Interment will be at Spring City Memorial Gardens.
