William “Billy” Gordon Sharp Sr., 75, of Dayton, TN was called home January 11, 2019.
Billy was raised and lived in Rhea County all his life. He was a supervisor at Lear Corporation and retired in 2010. He was known by many and loved by all. His favorite saying was “Love is like a lump of gold, hard to find and hard to hold”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivory and Mary Sharp; sisters, Jacqueline Roberson, Phillis Cofield; brothers, Charles Sharp and Bobbie Sharp.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Sharp; children, Scottie Sharp, William Sharp Jr., Allison Roddie, Johnny Sparks and Angelica Smith; brother, Ralph Sharp; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Johnson and Rev. Willie Ervin officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm.
