Agatha Maxine Poole died March 17, 2026, at Life Care Center of Rhea County. She lived her entire life in Dayton and was a member of New Union Baptist Church. Her longest employment was with La Z-Boy where she worked in customer service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Linas (Sonny) M. Poole Jr., sister Mildred Crane, and brother Albert Colbaugh.
Survivors include her son, Tim (Kim) Poole, two grandchildren Ashley Hennessey and Zachary (Dasha) Poole; great grandchildren Cooper and Karsyn Hennessey; sister Amelia VanWinkle.
Agatha was a devout Christian and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Many times, she fed the sick, hungry, hurting friends and family members of the community. Family was her pride and joy. She was always there to help when the need arose; always giving more than she received. Both Mom and Mamaw will be truly missed.
Our family would like to thank Life Care Center of Rhea County.
Coulter Garrison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
