Alfred Lamoureux Jr. Obituary

Alfred Lincoln Lamoureux Jr. passed away on June 4, 2025. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on November 29, 1941, to Alfred Lincoln Lamoureux Sr. and Marie May Lamoureux.

Alfred loved God and his family wholeheartedly. Throughout his life, he lived in various places but chose Dayton, Tennessee, as his home in 2016. He proudly served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. A man of deep faith, he was a devoted member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Carl Michael Lamoureux.

Alfred is survived by his son, Linc (Cyndi) Lamoureux of Dayton, Tennessee; grandchildren Emily (Zac) Travis and Audreyana Lamoureux, both of Dayton; and great-grandson Colton Travis, also of Dayton. He is also survived by his sisters: Charlene (George) Nikola of Coventry, Rhode Island; Anne (Ron) Masters; and Claire (Jerry) Lancaster, both of Byrdstown, Tennessee. His brothers include Ronald (Christine) Lamoureux of Redmond, Oregon, and Robert (Bobbie Gail) Lamoureux of Fayette, Alabama. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Alfred was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
