Alfred Thomas Osman, a resident of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Tennessee Veterans Home in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was born on August 22, 1942, in Miami, Florida, to Joseph and Lillian Osman.
Alfred proudly served in the United States Air Force, including service in Vietnam and various stateside posts. He was a dedicated member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was active in several community organizations. These included the American Legion Brady-Williams Post 100 in Dayton, the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 175 in Chattanooga, and the Dayton Community Chapel of the Seventh-day Adventists.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol L. Osman, and his brother Carl Osman.
He is survived by his brother Richard Osman of Florida; nephews Joseph and Thomas Osman; niece Elizabeth Osman; sister-in-law Margaret Osman; niece Charlotte Atwood of Orlando, Florida; and Cousin John Pleasants.
A memorial service will be held on July 3, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, with Rev. Barry Walls officiating
