Alvin Ray Hickman

Alvin Ray “Duke” Hickman 74, passed away on Friday February 19, 2021 at Rhea Medical Center.

Alvin was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and attended the Cove Church Of God.  He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served for 14 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Minton Hickman; parents, Willie and Nellie Johnson Hickman; 3 brothers, Charles Mack “Buddy” Hickman, William “Jink” Hickman, Roy “Sodie” Mack Hickman; sisters, Wilma Hickman and Lois King.

He is survived by a daughter, Angelick Hickman of Lexington, Kentucky; sister Janet Hickman of Graysville, TN; brother, Jimmy (Martha) Hickman of Dayton; 2 grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11 am until 2pm.

Internment will be at Garrison Cemetery.
