Angela Carol (Ray) Smith

Angela Carol Ray Smith, 62, passed away on Monday, July 8,2024 at Memorial North Park Hospital in Hixson.  She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed crafts, ballroom dancing, and horseback riding. 

She is preceded in death by her mother; Tommie Martin, father; Julius Ray, brothers; Stewart and Michael Ray, grandsons; Christian McClure and Angel Hewlett and granddaughter; Brianna Johnson.

Angela is survived by her husband; Thomas Nevon Smith Sr., children; Mandy Hewlett and Michael Johnson, Michael Pitts, Thomas Smith, Jr., brother; Johnnie Ray, grandchildren; Trinity Jones, Amari Benhoff, Asia Mackey, Jelani Mackey, Xyrus Suwan, Tyler Smith and Tre Smith, and another soon to be grandson.

A funeral service for Angela will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 at 2PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Lionel Moore officiating.  The family will receive friends from noon until the start of the service.  Interment will be immediately following the service at Pleasant Hill AME Zion Church cemetery in Soddy Daisy.
