Arnold "Tom" Thomas Gentry Jr.

Arnold Thomas Gentry Jr. passed away April 27,2021 at his home in Dayton, TN.

Tom was a longtime resident of Rhea County. He worked for  IT as a computer programmer, NCR in North Carolina, retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield, and after that had his own consultant company. He loved flying his plane, riding his motorcycle, and camping.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Thomas Gentry Sr. and Treva Jackson Gentry and brother Jimmy Gentry.

He is survived by his wife Mary Gentry of Dayton, TN; step-son, Teddy Paul (Rhonda ) Manning of Bellville, IL; brother, Dwight (Gail) Gentry of Charleston, TN; sisters-in-law, Linda Gentry, Spring City TN and Stephanie (Terry) Elsea, Spring City, TN; grandson, Trip Michael Manning of Bellville, IL; nephew, Dean Allen Gentry (Lisa), GA and niece, Ashley Smithey (Blake), Soddy Daisy, TN.

Visitation will be Thursday 5 to 8 p.m ,  services will be private
