BOBBY MULKEY

Mr. Bobby Mulkey, 75, of Dayton, TN, passed away at Rhea Medical Center Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was a life-long resident of Dayton where he retired from the Postal Service. Known by his family as a great “girl dad,” teaching his daughters softball and other sports, including hunting. He was a caring man, one of the best cattlemen in Tennessee, and the family’s rock.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bessie Mulkey and his brothers, Roy, Toby, and Wayne Mulkey.

Mr. Mulkey is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie (Robert) Zakrzewski of Rossville, GA and Michele Dodd of Hixson, TN; grandchildren, Daylee and Colten Zakrzewski; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4-7PM Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the funeral home and from noon until service time Sunday. Burial will follow in Buttram Cemetery.
