BRENDA LOUISE (SNEED) BROOKS

Brenda Brooks, 76, passed away at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN, on April 30, 2023.  She was a life-long resident of Dayton and was a teacher’s aide with the Rhea County School System for over 30 years.

Brenda was a great mother and grandmother; the most caring and nurturing person, and a faithful and a loving wife of 58 years.  She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, RC and Clara Ruth Sneed; and three brothers, James Carroll, Scottie and Tony Sneed. 

Brenda is survived by her spouse, Lawrence Brooks; son, Todd (Teresa) Brooks; one brother, Chris (Billie) Sneed; two grandchildren, Collin and Aaron Brooks; many nieces and nephews, Christy Webber, Tony Sneed, Jr., Daniel, Kristian “Nikki”, and Jonathan Sneed; and Melissa and Brad Lewis, Jean, Jeff, and Tim Brooks; and a host of other family members.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Sneed Family Cemetery with Kristian “Nikki” Sneed officiating on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
