BRENDA SUE TRUSLEY MORGAN

Brenda Sue Trusley Morgan, age 75, passed away at Life Care Center of Rhea County on Thursday, December 7, 2023.  She was a life-long resident of Dayton, Tennessee and was of the Church of God faith. 

She was the greatest Mother in the world and was her daughters’ rock. She was an irreplaceable cornerstone of her family that will be sorely missed. For pass time, she liked to play solitaire cards, do crossword puzzles, and enjoyed going to the Good Will stores.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Gladys Bowers and her husband, Jay Harold Trusley. 

She is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia Smith, Renea Burnett, and Kimberly McKenzie; one sister, Connie Morgan; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two nieces. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Smith and Reverend Andrew Dixon officiating.  Interment will follow at Burchard Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday,  December 11, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
