Barbara Joyce McClain Jones passed away April 29, 2019 at her home in Dayton, TN.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Christian faith. She worked for 30 years in the State of Tennessee District Attorney’s office. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emma Pearl Sexton McClain; brother, Wallace McClain and daughter, Lorinda Jones.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Allan (Jean) Jones of Augusta, GA and Malinda Joyce (Danny Adams) Jones of Dayton, TN; brothers, Roy (Peggy) McClain and Allen (Brenda) McClain both of Dayton, TN; sister, Doris ( Russ) White of TX; 5 grandchildren, Curtis Moore, Justin Matthews, Kayla Matthews all of Dayton, TN, Allison Jones of Wildwood FL, Emily Jones of Augusta, GA and 5 great grandchildren, Ally Moore, Preston Moore, Taylor Matthews, Mikah Matthews and Trevor Lynn.

There will be no services at this time.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
