Benny J. May

Benny J. May of Dayton, TN passed away on June 17, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and horses, and most of all liked to work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore May and Agnes (Hodge) May; son, Jackie May; daughter, Tammy Joy May; son, Ben Duane May; grandchild, Gary Barnes; and great grandchild, Ethan Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Paula May; brother Ted May of Graysville, TN; sister, Edith “Snoops” Presley of Sale Creek, TN; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
