Bernice Ann (Pritchett) Rogers

Bernice Ann Rogers, age 69, of Dayton, TN passed away on January 3, 2022 at home. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, loved crocheting, and going to movies with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Malcolm and Rosie Mae (McDonald) Pritchett; sister, Henrietta Reed; and brother, Junior Pritchett.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Rogers of Dayton, TN; daughter, Ruby (Joseph) Roper of Dayton, TN; brothers, Ray (Nancy) Pritchett of OH, and Malcolm Pritchett of Evensville, TN; sisters, Rose Mary Sneed of Evensville, TN, Crystal (Rick) Rigsby of Graysville, TN, Sharron Burum of Oak Ridge, TN, and Sheila Pritchett of Dayton, TN; four grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service is planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2022 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Brother John Harwood and Brother Carroll Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
