Bertha Ellen (Dotson) Revis

Bertha Ellen Revis, age 78, of Dayton, TN passed away on December 13, 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed doing crafts and had been employed as a shift leader for Pizza Hut.

She was predeceased by her parents, Orville and Katie (Johnson) Dotson; her son, Randy Barnes; four sisters, Dorothy Shelby, Sue Price, Ivy Davis, and Bo Dotson; and two brothers, R.J. Dotson, and Calvin Dotson.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Revis; four children, Allan Barnes, Tammy Barnes, Kathy Hickman, and Terry Barnes, all of Dayton, TN; three step-sons, Brandon Revis, Heath (Lauren) Revis and Keith Revis, all of Dayton, TN; five sisters, Patricia (Junior) Denton of Graysville, TN, Nancy (Leroy) Smith of Dayton, TN, Wilma (Jimbo) White of Dayton, TN, Linda Janow of Dayton, TN, Barbara Brown of Dayton, TN, and Buck Dawson of Tiftonia, TN; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Service for Bertha will be at 1 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Brother Leroy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Rhea Memory Garden.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
