Betty Jane (Goodman) Hawkins

Mrs. Betty Hawkins, 88 of Dayton, TN passed away on February 2, 2026, at her home with family by her side. She was born on December 31, 1937, to the late Dolly B. and Ivy Goodman. She was a member of the Spivey Church.

She was a kindhearted lady who didn’t hesitate to help others when possible. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her husband of 70 years, Igoue Hawkins of Dayton, TN; son Jason (Rebecca) Hawkins of Dayton, TN; daughter Stephanie Renee (Terry) Johnson of Rossville, GA; granddaughter Jessica (Zach) Taylor of Evansville, TN; grandson Aiden Hawkins of Dayton, TN; granddaughter Sadie Hawkins of Dayton, TN; great-grandson Cooper Taylor of Evansville, TN; sister Christine James of Dayton, TN; brother Gary Goodman and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.
