“Big John” Thomas Caraway Jr. passed away February 18, 2020 at his home in Dayton, TN.

John was a longtime resident of Rhea County and of the Pentecostal faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Freida Caraway and brother, Michael Caraway.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Caraway; children, Michelle Morgan and Jessica Caraway (Daniel Friscia); sister, Vickie (Ted) May; brother, Rusty (Kelly) Caraway; grandchildren, Alexis Garrett, LaShana (Matt) Wilson, Salena (Drey) Whitfield, Elijah (Whitney) Garrett, Kolby Garrett; great grandchildren, Baila Morgan, Ali & Colton Garrett, Willow Whitfield; special nephew, Michael Caraway and several other nieces and nephews.

Service will be Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Evangelist Jason Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Spence Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 5:00-8:00pm.
