Bill Burnette

Mr. William Glenn “Bill” Burnette, 60, of Dayton, TN went to be with the Lord on January 14th, 2024. Bill was born March 15th, 1963 in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Burnette was a lifelong resident of Rhea County where he worked at La Z Boy until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, and papaw. He loved cows, farming, riding tractors, and duck hunting. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met.

Mr. Burnette is preceded in death by his parents, Aubry and Glenna Burnette; sisters, Janette Gann and Laura Cranfill; and brother, Donnie Burnette.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Burnette; his three children, Candi (Joe) Conlan, Cassie Burnette of Dayton, TN, and Jake (Cassidy) Burnette; sister, Carol (Jeff) Brown; grandchildren, Mallory and Molly Jo Conlan, Weston and Quinn Burnette; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Bill will be Friday, January 26, 2024, from 3:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Paul Forgey officiating. Burial will follow at Spence Cemetery.
