Bruce Henry Melton

Bruce Henry Melton, age 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 24, 2024.  He has been a resident of Rhea County for the past seven years and attended Grace Bible Church in Dayton.  Bruce loved the Lord with all his heart and his family takes comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is with his Lord in heaven.

He is preceded in death by his parents Otis Henry Melton and Gladys Byers Melton and brother Bobby Melton.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 32 years; Sylvia Syboney Hinojosa Melton, children; Christopher Melton and Victoria Madison, both of North Georgia as well as his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11AM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Woychuk officiating.  Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10-11AM.
