Buddy Eugene Johnson

Buddy Eugene Johnson, age 77, of Dayton, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born in Harriman, Tennessee, on June 28, 1949, to Carl Eugene Johnson, Sr. and Virginia Reel Johnson.

Buddy worked for Dayton Products for more than 25 years and later for Rhea Tool and Die for over 20 years, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Becky Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Johnson; children, Gene (Gail) Johnson, Jamie (Ashley) Johnson, Chuck Johnson, and Rhonda (Jason) Lucas; brothers, Bill Sims and Bill Headlee; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at The Cove Baptist Church in Dayton, Tennessee.  There will be no services.
