CAROLYN JANE BRADY

Carolyn Jane Brady, 69, of Dayton passed away at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center on February 1, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Dayton and loved her family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Odom and Lillian Simmons; brother, Donald “Punk” Simmons; and mother and father-in-law, Wilburn and June Brady.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carl Brady; two children, Jason Brady and Misti Mooneyham; two sisters, Beulah Grubb and Donna Hicks; five brothers, Dan Simmons, Shorty Simmons, Eugene Simmons, Dewih Simmons, and Dwight Simmons; three grandchildren, special grandson Cody (Alex) Hickman, Alisha, and Robert; along with several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2:30 PM with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.
