CHARLES NOEL COXEY, JR.

Charles N. Coxey, 76, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Charles was born on May 12, 1946 to Charles Noel and Vivian Price Coxey.  He was a graduate of Rhea Central High School and Tennessee Tech.  Charles taught math at Rhea County High School and in Texas until his retirement.  He was an avid ham radio operator and computer enthusiast.  He was a long-time member of Graysville Baptist Church.   

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Coxey; his father, Charles Coxey; and his brother-in-law, Marvin Calbough.  He is survived by his sister, Donna Calbough; niece, Teresa (Mike) Dinger; nephew, Terry Calbough; and great nieces and nephew, Haille and Hunter Dinger and Molly Calbough.

Funeral service will be held at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2PM with the Rev. Steve Travis officiating. Burial will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.
