Caroyln (Carol) L. Williams, age 76 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, TN.
Born on February 23, 1947 in Charlotte, MI, Carol's journey began. Graduating from Charlotte High School in 1965, she embarked on a path of various jobs before starting her own family. Carol was a truly unique individual, with a multitude of passions in her life. Among them, she found joy in attending numerous Nascar races each year, surrounded by her Nascar family. Disney held a special place in Carol's heart, with Olaf and Tigger being her favorite characters. She also had a deep love for traveling, particularly enjoying cruises and beach destinations. At home, Carol cherished the company of her beloved husky, Moose, who held a special place in her heart. She found solace in reading on her porch and indulging in diamond paintings.
Carol's vibrant personality knew no bounds, as she never hesitated to strike up a conversation with strangers. If adventure had a name, it would undoubtedly be Carol Williams. Above all, Carol was an exceptional wife and her family meant the world to her. Her love and dedication knew no bounds, making her the best wife anyone could ask for.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Margorie Reed of Charlotte, MI and Grandson Brody Lee Williams. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Jim Williams of Dayton, TN. Sons Jeffrey (Denise) Williams of Mason, MI, Matthew (Debbie) Williams of Hazard, KY; two grandson’s, Dillion (Kelse) Williams of Evensville, TN and Tobias Williams Kannapolis, NC; Stepchildren Karey, Jarret, Jimmy, Jacob and many more. With a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday December 27, 2023 at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home 1670 Market St. Dayton, TN 3732. Visitation will be 10 am - 1 pm with a celebration of life starting at 1 p.m. Pastor Eddie Suttles will be officiating.
