Charles Earl Brock Sr.

Charles Earl Brock Sr., age 78,  passed away on January 6, 2025, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born on April 14, 1946, in Pikeville, TN, to the late William and Louiza Brock.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sisters: Mary Prater, Louise Sullivan Daniels, Willette Prater, and S. Elizabeth Long, and his brother, Thomas Brock. He is survived by his children: Sheila (Chris) Smith, Timmy (Jeannie) Brock, Charlie (Becky) Brock, and Albert Brock; his sister, Nina Gothard; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles was a passionate and dedicated man who spent over 30 years working for the Tennessee Division of Forestry, a job that fueled his love for the outdoors and all things related to forestry. He also had a special interest in working with his CB radio, connecting with others in the community. His family will always remember him as someone who loved life, cherished his family, and had a deep connection to the natural world.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home, with Dr. Leland Frazier officiating. Interment will follow at Henson Cemetery in Pikeville, TN.
