Charlotte Ruth (Baker) Beard

Mrs. Charlotte Beard, 74, of Evensville, TN passed away Friday, January 23, 2026 and went to be with the Lord with her daughter, Karen Doolittle. Charlotte was born June 24, 1951 to the late James Howard and Zelma Roberts Baker in Rockwood, TN. Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tic Beard. A life-long resident of the area, she was a member of the Concord Union Baptist Church in Evensville, TN.

Mrs. Beard is survived by her son, Timothy Ray (Rebecca) Hicks; and her stepchildren, David (Joy) Beard and Doug Beard and Dixie; brothers, James Howard Baker, Jr. and Mark Roberts Baker; sisters, Patsy Ellen Graves and Carolyn Jane Gunter; grandchildren, Faith, Hope, and Grace (Hicks), Bella, Macy, Savanna, Danielle Renee (Christopher) Armstrong, Thomas (Lillian) Doolittle, III and Dustin Ray Doolittle; and Karen (daughter of Dixie); great-grandchildren, Josie Renee and Teddy Reed Armstrong, and Thomas and Delilah Doolittle and Clayton Beard.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2PM with Pastor Jeff Dew officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. Her cremated remains will be entombed at Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville, TN where her late husband rests.
