Charlotte Brown Obituary

Charlotte Faye Green Brown, born April 20, 1935 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Robert and Nell Rolen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Lloyd Green, Jr and Wendell Brown, son Kent Green, stepson Mark Brown, grandson Cole Green, and brother Bill Rolen.

Charlotte, or “NeeNee”, as she was known by her loving family, lived a life of generous service to her community. Much of her career was spent working for the Dayton Housing Authority, assisting local families. She was an active member of Dayton First United Methodist Church, and spent many years volunteering with her Bible Study Group. “NeeNee” deeply loved her family, and was happiest sharing laughs over her home-cooked meals. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.

Left to Cherish her memories are son Mike and Deb Prater Green of Evensville, TN., daughter Cissy and Chuck Owens of Soddy Daisy, TN., son RB and Bobbye Brown of Frankfort, KY., brother Ronnie Rolen of Knoxville, TN., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date at Rhea Memory Gardens with Rev. Lane Pennington officiating.
