Clarence Junior “Hippie” Yoder, age 74, passed away on September 25, 2021 at Rhea Medical Center. He was a member of The Gospel Hall and of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed his farm animals, working on cars with his son Isaiah and singing gospel music.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Linda (Longmire) Yoder; his son, Wayne Yoder; and daughters, Renee Yoder and Wanda Yoder.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Paulette Whitmire Yoder; son, Isaiah Yoder and his girlfriend, Jessica Cobb, of Dayton, TN; son, Johnathan (Taylor) Rue of Rossville, GA; daughter, Kim Yoder of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Linda (Ray) Balcom of Dayton, TN; sister, Barbara (Rick) Jennings of Indiana; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Kathy Young officiating. Interment will follow at Spence Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 12 – 2 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
