Cletus Lane

Cletus Lane, age 78 of Dayton, Tennessee passed away August 31, 2024, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. He was born January 22, 1946 in Dayton, Tennessee where he was a lifelong resident.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Sharon Lane, parents; Florence Everett Lane and Edward George Lane, and two brothers; Charles Edward Lane and Thomas Luther Lane.

Cletus is survived by his 3 children; Rachel (Tommy) Huffaker, Martha (Joe) Dalton, Cody Lane; brother; Thomas Luther Lane, 3 grandchildren; Sadie Huffaker, Amanda Huffaker, and Isaiah Dalton, as well as several nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at Mountain View United Methodist Church Saturday September 7th at 11:30 am. with Pastor Daniel Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service.
